What are your rates?

Please call or email for a Personal Care Plan Home Assessment. Every plan is personally detailed for the services that you need. We are competitive in the area and offer high-quality service for our charges.

Is there a minimum hour per visit restriction?

Purple Heart only requires a 4 hour minimum for a specific shift.

How many service levels are available and can I mix and match them as needed?

Purple Heart provides two distinct levels of services depending on your home healthcare needs. However,if you need a different level of service only temporarily and then go back to your previous level of service or schedule, we can make that happen.

Are the Caregivers and CNA's registered with the State of Florida?

All of the Caregivers at Purple Heart Health Care are on the National Registry and Licensed by the State of Florida either as a Certified Nursing Assistant or as an HHA.

Are the Caregivers available 24/7?

Yes. Purple Heart Health Care provides services that are available 24/7.

Shifts typically run on the following schedule:

7:00am - 11:00am, 11:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 7:00pm

(These two middle shifts may be filled by the AM caregiver)

7:00pm - 7:00am

What is your replacement policy when a caregiver is not available for a shift?

Here at Purple Heart we try to employ the best of the best whose caregivers really want to make life easier for our clients because every moment matters. We are looking for caregivers that get attached and want to make sure their clients are comfortable

and at ease with the people in their homes. We will try to schedule someone you are already familiar with to fill in when there is a call out for a shift.

Are your caregivers regularly evaluated?

Our caregivers are given regular training,

certifications and evaluations. All of our caregivers are evaluated per contract in which the client provides feedback for all caregivers seen after the first week of service, mid-contract and then during the exit review of the service contract in addition to regular employment evaluations. So, if you have any praise or concerns you may contact us at any time to review your services.

Do you bill weekly or monthly?

You receive a bill every Monday for services provided for the previous week ending on Saturday. The service schedule is from Sunday – Saturday for whatever hours/days that are worked for that week.

Do you accept Medicaid or VA Benefits as payment?

At this time we are unable to file with Medicaid and the VA for payment for benefits offered. We plan to offer this service in the near future.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks and all major credit cards. We have the capability to auto-debit your checking account and credit card as agreed to in your Service Contract if you prefer.  We also file with your insurance company if you have Long Term Care benefits (LTC). When Medicare and VA benefits filings are available we will then allow payment from those insurers.
